The Future of Information Communication

CHAPTER III, 2015: Visualized returns to New York to bring together the world’s most creative minds that are changing the way we communicate, understand, and interact with data. Join hundreds of data designers, visualizers, storytellers and technologists for an experiential and educational two days, October 8 & 9, as we explore the future of information communication.

Data Science

Data Visualization

Experience Design

The main stage will feature 35+ speakers that will present 20-minute data-driven visual narratives. Designed to be as educational as they are entertaining and inspirational, presentations will span across a number of disciplines and subject matters, but all keeping with the theme of exploring new ways to communicate information.

The randomized topic tags below are intended to provide a big picture overview of the topics to be covered at Visualized 2015. Specific programming languages, software and hardware have been omitted from the tags, but will be part of the general discussion.

Each of these topic tags is associated with at least one speaker, which you can see within their profiles above.

Ticket Information

Tickets for Visualized 2015 include the two-day conference at the Times Center and the access to the evening party. Ticket holders are also eligible to attend the opening night event, but not guaranteed a spot there, as it is at a smaller venue. Seats will be allocated on a first-to-reserve basis, which will be announced closer to the event. There will be snacks and drinks provided throughout the event. For lunch, we recommend visiting one of the many local restaurants. Tickets are not refundable, but are transferable before October 1st.

We are currently all set with volunteers for this year’s event, but keep an eye out for tweets and emails for when spots open up or when we realize we need more people - it happens!
